More pictures of buildings and food

What a great birthday yesterday. My first ever birthday with Lucy was fantastic. Heather and Lucy had live lobsters shipped to our door. We had a classic New England meal with clam chowder (chowda), lobster (lobsta) and corn bread (corn bread). I don't know if yankees eat corn bread with lobster, but I wanted some. Oh and we had blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. By the end I was suffering from comfort. If you can't tell by the photo, I was concerned these suckers were going to flip right out of my hands. I also got season 3 of Arrested Development on DVD. It's only my favorite tv show. Life is good.

What else is going on, you ask? You can click over to Lucy's site to see photos of her. She's front and center these days. There's other stuff happening too. The house across the street is one of 3 or 4 houses in our neighborhod that was just torn down for rebuilding. You can click on a photo to enlarge it.The old house was a cute little (little) 2 bedroom house. They're building a 3,000 sq ft house in its place. The cool thing is that the architect went up and down the street looking at the other houses and tried to come up with something that "fits"--this according to our neighbor who lives next to the teardown. I hope that's the case. Thanks for checking in.
